HMAUS’ Dr Kokua explores MacScan3 to get to the bottom of the often asked question “Do Macintosh computers need malware software?”
Dr Kokua is currently in the lab to get past the myths and misinformation about today’s security risks and he will present his findings at the HI Tech Learning Clinic on Saturday, March 4 at the Nuuanu Baptist Church.
Dr Kokua’s research may help you decide if MacScan 3 will help you with this year’s spring cleaning. Here is a list of the key features:
Detect & Remove Mac Malware
MacScan will find and clean malware threatening your Mac, including:
- Trojan Horses
- Keystroke Loggers
Clean up Internet clutter
MacScan can seek out and destroy privacy threats such as blacklisted tracking cookies, leaving the rest of your browsing data in place, or free up valuable hard drive space by locating and removing unnecessary files left behind by web browsers. All of this is in addition to removing malware threats.
